Galaxy Express 999
(one of the greatest series ever)
my childhood fantasies evolved mostly around these two characters(maetel and harlock) plus conan…:))
now im actually looking into obtaining these series to own… please please let me know if you know of good place(s) to obtain them… i did find conan(4cd set) couple of years ago on ebay…:)
funny i was just began researching (again) thru internet for the availability of these series (plus more by miyazaki and others) to purchase…:)

Yeah I’ve been looking for the 999 series everywhere! But to date I only have the movies, and they’re on VHS tapes, at that haha :D
This website is selling the DVD movies for a really great price ($8 each), and the TV series too— but only 36 episodes out of the whole thing :(
This website has the entire 113 ep series as a boxset (with a Korean dub and subtitles?). But it’s extremely expensive: $600 (3 volumes, $200 each)… T_T
That’s all I could find. For the moment, I think I’m going to crunchyroll to watch & download the episodes. At least until I can find something better and I’ll let you know too :P
Also Miyazaki. Wow I really want to rewatch his movies now too… <3 nostalgia!
